Refund & Cancellation
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, service expiry, renewal payments, and related service termination are handled for Shynix Hostings services.
We aim to keep cancellations and refunds clear.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services provided by Shynix Hostings, operated under Shynix Technologies, including website creation, temporary websites, single-page websites, hosting, renewals, and related digital services.
Because some Shynix Hostings services involve work being performed specifically for a customer, refund eligibility may depend on whether work or service delivery has already started.
Any refund rights required by applicable consumer protection or other mandatory law remain unaffected by this policy.
Cancellation requests should be made as early as possible.
Customers may request cancellation of an applicable service by contacting Shynix Hostings through the official contact channel.
A cancellation request should include sufficient information to identify the relevant service or order.
Cancellation does not automatically mean that a refund will be issued. Refund eligibility depends on the service status, work already completed, payment circumstances, and applicable law.
Earlier cancellation may provide greater refund eligibility.
Where a customer requests cancellation before meaningful work on the requested service has started, Shynix Hostings may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, provide a full or partial refund.
The amount of any refund may take into account payment processing charges, third-party costs, work already performed, resources already allocated, or other non-recoverable costs.
Potentially Refundable
Cancellation requested before meaningful service work has begun may qualify for a refund, subject to review.
Review Required
A refund is not automatic simply because a service has not yet been published.
Once service work has started, refunds may be limited.
Once work has begun on a website, hosting configuration, design, deployment, customization, or other service, the amount already performed may affect refund eligibility.
Where significant work, customization, deployment, configuration, or service delivery has already occurred, Shynix Hostings may decline a refund or provide only a partial refund, subject to applicable law.
This is particularly relevant where a service has been specifically prepared or customized for a customer.
A completed or materially delivered service may generally be non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Shynix Hostings expressly agrees otherwise.
Refunds are considered based on the circumstances of each request.
Subject to applicable law, a refund may be considered where circumstances justify it, including certain situations such as:
- Cancellation before meaningful work has started.
- Duplicate payment or an identifiable payment error.
- A service cannot reasonably be delivered by Shynix Hostings and an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed.
- Another refund obligation exists under applicable law or an express written agreement.
Each request may be reviewed according to the service purchased, work performed, payment status, applicable terms, and relevant circumstances.
Certain circumstances may not qualify for a refund.
Subject to applicable mandatory rights, refunds may generally not be provided for services or periods that have already been substantially delivered or consumed.
- Services already fully delivered.
- Website work or customization already substantially completed.
- Hosting or temporary website time already used.
- Renewal periods that have already started.
- Cancellation caused by customer-provided incorrect information or failure to provide required materials.
- Customer dissatisfaction based solely on a preference change after approval or delivery, where the agreed service has otherwise been supplied.
- Third-party charges or costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.
Nothing in this section is intended to remove any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Temporary service periods are tied to the agreed duration.
For temporary websites, the purchased amount generally relates to the agreed service period.
Once the temporary website has been activated and service access has begun, fees relating to the consumed portion of the service may generally not be refundable, subject to applicable law.
If the customer requests cancellation during an active temporary service period, any refund consideration may depend on the remaining period, service already delivered, and costs incurred.
Renewal payments extend an existing service period.
Renewal payments may be subject to the same cancellation and refund principles as the original service, depending on whether the renewed period has started or service has already been provided.
Customers should verify the service duration and renewal amount before completing a renewal payment.
Once a renewed service period begins, cancellation does not necessarily create a right to a proportional refund.
Expiry is different from cancellation.
When a temporary or time-limited service reaches its agreed expiry date, the service may be suspended, unpublished, archived, or removed according to the applicable service terms.
Expiry after the agreed service period does not normally create a refund entitlement for the period that has already been provided.
Suspension or termination caused by violation of applicable terms, unlawful activity, abuse, security concerns, or similar circumstances may also affect refund eligibility.
Payment problems should be reported promptly.
Customers should contact Shynix Hostings as soon as possible if they believe they have been charged incorrectly.
Examples may include duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, failed reversals, or other identifiable payment errors.
Where a payment issue is verified, Shynix Hostings may investigate and, where appropriate, process a correction or refund.
Payment providers may have their own procedures.
Where payments are processed through an external payment provider, bank, wallet, card network, or other third party, transactions may also be subject to that provider's procedures, terms, and processing timelines.
A refund approved by Shynix Hostings may take additional time to appear in the customer's account depending on the external payment provider.
Customers should not initiate unauthorized payment reversals or chargebacks without first contacting Shynix Hostings where a legitimate service dispute can be resolved directly.
Approved refunds are processed through the applicable payment method where possible.
When a refund is approved, Shynix Hostings will generally attempt to process it through the original payment method or another appropriate method where necessary.
Processing times can vary depending on banks, card networks, payment providers, and other external systems.
Shynix Hostings cannot guarantee an exact date on which an approved refund will appear in the customer's account when the transaction is being processed by an external provider.
Customers may be asked to provide relevant order, invoice, or transaction information so that the refund request can be accurately reviewed.
This policy may be updated as our services evolve.
Shynix Hostings may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment processes, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.
The revised version will be published on this page and the "Last Updated" date may be changed.
Any mandatory rights applicable to a customer or transaction remain unaffected by an update to this policy.
